hey bbs! How‘s life? I for one am looking forward to a short trip to Paris, France in two weeks, yay! The last time I visited this wonderful city was when I was 16 years old (which – if you‘re curious – was 12 years ago… whoa)… but I digress!
A couple of weeks ago I set out to get my hands on some vegan items by wet‘n wild cosmetics. By the way, this brand is pretty much unheard of in Germany and not widely available – at least for now…
Seeing as I have always been somewhat obsessed with all things U.S.-related and thus heavily influenced by north american pop culture, websites, (beauty) bloggers etc., so what I knew about this brand was pretty much mixed reviews and lots of nostalgic accounts about early nineties makeup essentials.
Color Icon Blusher: 832E Heather Silk
Heather silk is a bright pink blush. A perfect, fun color for summer. Unlike most drugstore blushes, both blushers have great color payoff which is great because you can really build your blush with these!
Color Icon Blusher: 833E Mellow Wine
I just love this colour! It‘s the perfect everyday coral/peach blush – not too bright, not too orange. I‘m so glad I found this for my vegan blush collection. Hands down my favorite blush at the moment!
MegaLast Lip Color
A dusky pink, maybe 1-2 shades darker than my natural lip color. On my lips it‘s a perfect neutral pink, great for everyday use.
E910D Red Velvet
BANG!!! A very bright, highly pigmented silky red with a fuchsia/blue-ish base. Love this shade!
E911D Stoplight Red
True blue-based red. My favorite because I think I‘ll be wearing this the most because these reds work best for me 😉
C647B MegaVolume Mascara & E861 Mega Liner in Black
My new go-to mascara & eyeliner. Though I‘d prefer much more volume, I like this mascara a lot because it doesn‘t clump and doesn‘t flake or budge all day long. Wears almost like a waterproof formula, but is easily removable without having to use oil. Solid product for everyday use. Same goes for the eyeliner – I also like that it dries to a matte black.
I definitely plan to buy more of their vegan stuff (especially the CoverAll Foundation in Fair, which was sold out when I visited.) I mean, who doesn‘t love affordable makeup with great colour payoff and lots of vegan options?
